Seraphinite is a beautiful and unique stone known for its silky, feathery, wing-like patterns. It is a collector’s favorite and is often associated with angelic imagery because of its shimmering silver inclusions.
What Is Seraphinite?
Seraphinite is a variety of clinochlore, a mineral in the chlorite group.
Its name comes from the Seraphim (angels) because the stone shows silvery, feathery, or wing-like patterns that look like angel wings.
It is typically cut into cabochons, beads, or polished shapes—not usually faceted.
